Kelowna Chiefs Wrap-Up Regular Season

Kelowna Chiefs Wrap-Up Regular Season
It was a nail biter of a game during the Kelowna Chiefs final game of the regular season.
On Sunday February 19, the Chiefs welcomed Penticton to Rutland Arena.
Despite being up 4-0 at one point in the second period, the Lakers fought back in the third period to shorten the gap 5 – 4.
Kelowna spent the last 5 minutes of the game on a penalty kill but was able to hold the score and take the win.
Scoring for Kelowna was TJ Dumonceaux, Josh McEwan, Jordan Salahor (1G,1A), Braeden Hikichi (1G,1A), and Matt Hill.
Rookie Brady Mende also had his first KIJHL assist.
Things didn’t go quite as well on Friday February 17 when the Kelowna Chiefs welcomed Sicamous.
The Chiefs were shut out 7 – 0 at home.
A huge thank-you goes to Ryan Watters who chose the Chiefs/Lakers game for his February Game of the month.
Watters broadcasted the match live on his website RyanWatters.ca
The Kelowna Chiefs wrapped up the 2011/2012 regular season with 26 wins, 22 losses, and 4 OT losses for a total of 56 points.
