O’Donnell earns first shutout
The Kelowna Chiefs are congratulating goaltender Tyler O’Donnell on his first shut out of the season.
The 18-year-old rookie faced 24 shots on net during the Chiefs 6 – 0 win over the Penticton Lakers on February 3, 2012.
O’Donnell, who is from Fountain Valley California, has played 25 games so far this season with Kelowna.
He has faced a total of 687 shots on goal with 599 saves for a save percentage of .872%
O’Donnell has only allowed 88 goals pass by him between the pipes.
